DAY 1 - ORVIETO

Arrival in Perugia, meeting with the tourist guide and departure for Orvieto. Lunch at the restaurant. Guided tour of the city:Saint Patrick Well, the gothic cathedral, the Etrurian zone of the city with the remains of the temple, the Necropolis of tophus cross. Arrival in Città della Pieve typical Medieval village surrounded by fourteenth century walls, famous for saffron culture. Hotel accommodation, dinner and overnight.

DAY 2 - PERUGIA - TRASIMENO LAKE

Breakfast and departure for Perugia an architectonic precious jewel, guided tour of the city. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon Trasimeno Lake and Passignano, a typical Medieval village. Trip con the lake by boat to admire the three islands:la Maggiore, la Minore, la Polvere. Return to hotel, dinner and
overnight.

DAY 3 - FONTI DEL CLITUNNO - CASCATE DELLE MARMORE - SPOLETO

Breakfast and departure for Fonti del Clitumno springs flowing in a nice lake. They were different in the first century at the time of Plinio. A violent earthquake in 444 changed them and river Clitumno stopped to be navigable as it was till those days. Nowadays layout is due to Paolo Campiello della Spina, between 1860 and 1865 he took off the ground to create the lake. He planted the greenery which still today characterized this place. Some years later Giosuè Carducci in this place wrote one of his best known poem Alle Fonti del Clitumno. Departure for Cascate delle Marmore one of the highest European falls with a drop of 165 meter, it has three drops and the highst is 83 meters. Its name derived from the calcium salt that is in the rock which looks like marble. Lunch at the restaurant. In the afternoon arrival in Spoleto and visit of Rocca Albornoziana and Ponte delle torri, visible from the highest part of the city. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 4 - NOCERA UMBRA - GUBBIO

Breakfast and departure for Nocera Umbra a typical Medieval city famous for the good quality of its water, uncontaminated landscapes, charming art and small village. Lunch in a typical restaurant. Departure for Gubbio situated on a rock at the foot of Ingino, it is protected by strong medieval walls which surrounded it for about three km, in the walls we can still admire public and private palaces, houses, churches and traditional shops on a town planning made up of parallel and plain streets joined by stairs and steep black lanes. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 5 - TODI - ASSISI

Breakfast and departure for Todi, a city which has kept alive its medieval charm: you can reach the historical centre through the city walls built on the old pre-roman and roman walls and through city doors still intact. At the top of the city Piazza del Popolo with the main medieval buildings: the Gothic Palazzo dei Priori, Palazzo del Podestà and del Capitano del Popolo. Then the cathedral dedicated to Saint Fortunato, patron saint of the city, impressive gothic building with its unfinished front. Inside there are a naïve and two aisles, in the crypt Jacopone da Todi, a famous Italian religious poet of the thirteenth century, is buried. The tour goes on through the medieval area: narrow street, arches, towers, churches, it really seems to be back in the medieval past. Lunch in a typical restaurant and in the afternoon departure for Assisi, the city of Saint Francesco and known all over the world as the city of peace. Thanks to the richness of its artistic treasures Assisi can be considered one of the best Italia destination, its past can be still traced in its churches, palaces and catles. Return to hotel, dinner and overnight.

DAY 6 - DEPARTURE
